BBVA current accounts will open the door to BBVA’s services: sterling and euro currency accounts, international and UK money transfers, 24/7 online banking services, term deposits, debit cards, direct debits and standing orders.
You must deposit at least £10,000 (or the foreign currency equivalent) into your bank account when it is opened. If you do not have a minimum of £10,000 to deposit with us, then you will not be eligible to open a current account with BBVA UK.

The way we process your cheques is changing

The way we process your cheques is changing. From 30 October 2017, a new Image Clearing system will be implemented which will cut down the time it takes to clear your cheques from the usual six working day to just one working day.
