COMPLAINTS
We are committed to providing high standards of service. But if we do not live up to your expectations or our promises and you want to complain about any aspect of our service, we would like to hear from you so that we can work with you to resolve it.
We are covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service, which gives you extra protection. You can contact it if you are unhappy with how your complaint is dealt with by us.

We usually reply to your email address but there may be times when we need to get in touch by post, for example when we need to refer to confidential information or send you important documents.

What you need to provide
To help us investigate and resolve your complaint, we'll need the following information: - Your name and address
- Your account number and sort code (for confidentiality reasons, do not send these details in an email)
- A daytime telephone number where we can contact you
- A clear description of your concern or complaint
- Details of what you would like us to do to put it right.
- Copies of any relevant documents (if appropriate), such as letters or any other relevant reference number.

How we'll respond
Getting back to you We'll do our best to resolve your complaint quickly - by the next day if possible - but when we can't we will: - Provide a written acknowledgement of your complaint within five working days.
- Give you the details of who is handling your complaint and how to contact them.
Sometimes this may not be the person who received your complaint but the individual best-placed to deal with it. If your complaint will take longer to investigate, we'll keep you informed of the progress. We aim to resolve your complaint within four weeks. If we're unable to, we'll write explaining what's happening and when we expect to have an answer. After eight weeks we'll send you a final response.
If you're still not happy Our aim is to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible and to your satisfaction. If you're unhappy with the response, get in touch with the person or department that handled your complaint. They'll agree with you the next steps. If you're still unhappy, you can request a review from the Financial Ombudsman Service.
